"Small spiks in English 1" – the alphabet, number words (1-20).
A double-sided A4 sheet, which interestingly and clearly displays the English alphabet, providing the pronunciation of each letter and a word in English that starts with this letter, as well... as the translation of the word into Latvian. To make the first steps in learning English easy, carefully selected English words are those which in spelling and pronunciation are close to Latvian words (kitten – kaķēns; vase – vāze; garage – garāža, etc.). On the other side of the sheet are the spellings and pronunciations of numbers from 1 to 20. Both for the letters of the alphabet and the numbers, there are cheerful illustrations that motivate learning English.
