15-year-olds Ira and Matvey had a rough start to their summer. Ira is in despair due to her parents' divorce, while Matvey is depressed over a fight with his beloved girlfriend. Ira is ready to run away from home to avoid hearing her parents' mutual accusations and insults, while Matvey is seriously considering ending his life. Both are convinced that the world is unfairly arranged and that nothing but pain and emptiness awaits them in the future. Angered at the entire world, the kids do not yet know that in just a few days they will gain new friends, true love will come, and with it, trust and a positive attitude towards the world will return. And all this thanks to a week spent in an abandoned camp by the lake. The story became a laureate of the III Competition named after S. Mikhalkov under the original title 'You Exist'.
