Maxim Semelyak — a music journalist and one of the many people whose life trajectory changed forever under the influence of the songs of «Civil Defense», — was supposed to start working on a book with Yegor Letov in 2008. The plans were interrupted by... the death of the main character. Over the past 13 years, Letov has become, as he wanted, a folkloric character, broken into quotes, slogans, and meme: people of various political views and personal beliefs claim his legacy, and his fans are countless, just like the interpretations of his songs.
