The Stick of a Thousand and One Bees

Spring comes — and the bees become cramped in the old hive. They leave the old home, gather in a swarm, and embark on a journey through the blooming meadow and the fruit garden, flying over fields and bodies of... water, meeting neighboring birds, insects, and reptiles. The search for a new place for the swarm ends well: the plants on which the bees stopped remain pollinated and will soon bear fruit; the resourceful beekeeper manages to settle the pets in a new hive, and soon he will collect sweet honey from it.
The new illustrated encyclopedia for preschoolers from the series «A Thousand and One» introduces children to the structure of a bee colony's life and the role of these insects in the life cycle of plants. In the work of the artist and author of the book Ioanna Zhezak, the spring meadow flowers, fruit blossoms, and inhabitants of fields and gardens create a picture of the infinite diversity of nature that one wants to contemplate endlessly.
The book is prepared for publication in cooperation with the Moscow Zoo.
