The manual is a necessary supplement to the school textbook by N.Ya. Vilenskiy and others "Mathematics. 6th Grade," recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and included in... the Federal List of Textbooks.

The manual contains various materials for monitoring and assessing the quality of preparation of 6th grade students, as stipulated by the 6th grade Mathematics program.

It presents 36 independent works, each in two variants, so that if necessary, the completeness of the students' knowledge can be checked after each completed topic; 10 control works, presented in four variants, provide the opportunity to accurately assess the knowledge of each student.
