The Scarlet Flower. Fairy Tales

The tale "The Scarlet Flower" was first heard by S. T. Aksakov from the keykeeper Pelageya, and in the future, he recorded it, poetically presenting it in his own way. For many years, this tale about the power of selfless love has been read in schools, staged as plays, and adapted into films and cartoons. The book also includes Russian folk tales ("Lipunyushka and Baba Yaga", "Koschei the Deathless") and authored tales ("The Fussy One" by V. I. Dal and "The Magic Ring" by A. P. Platonov). The texts of the tales are provided without abbreviations.
