The game introduces the letters of the Russian alphabet, teaches to determine the first sound in a word and match it with the letter, enriches vocabulary, activates speech, and develops self-checking skills.

The cards feature charming animals. The child needs to identify the first sound in the name and pick the corresponding card with the letter. If done correctly, the two shaped cards connect like a puzzle.

The letter cards have hint words for parents if they find it difficult to correctly name the animal (for example, dog, pup, or puppy).

Simple words can be formed from the letter cards.
