The boy Yoshi loves to swear very much, and his grandmother does not like it at all. She advises her grandson to come up with his own curse - that way he can let off steam and not use foul... language. Yoshi follows his grandmother's advice and invents his own curse (which, however, still hides one not very decent word).
Besides his grandmother, Yoshi has a sister named Mitzi - very brave and quite mischievous. Yoshi decides to scare her with a homemade ghost. It turns out that Yoshi's invented curse is actually an ancient animating spell. Thus, the Scary One is brought to life - a small and rather capricious ghost, which causes more trouble than fear.
