Three Fat Men

Soviet writer and playwright Yuri Olesha grew up in a family of impoverished nobility. The story "Three Fat Men" is the Soviet version of the tale of Robin Hood. In the city ruled by three greedy Fat Men, the gunsmith Prospero turns out to be the only one who dares to challenge them and stand up for the people. The book teaches to be kind and fair and shows that true wealth is not money and power, but the freedom and love of loved ones.
