1917: The Sovereign of the Revolution

Revolution cannot be prevented. It can only be led. Especially if by the will of fate you become the Emperor of All Russia in the midst of the February Revolution of 1917. The new Tsar Mikhail II can restore order and take power only by relying on the army, and for this, he had to promise everything that the soldiers wanted to hear — a quick peace, a fair division of land from the landowners, reforms and the construction of a new fair Russia.
But the old system does not wish to yield and offers resistance. Assassinations, conspiracies, riots. Intrigues and provocations from foreign intelligence. Resistance from the previous masters of life. A world war ongoing for the third year and the loss of vast territories. Backwardness of the economy and poverty. Hundreds, thousands of problems and insoluble contradictions. It seems that history itself is against our hero, which he is destined to change.
Thus, by the whim of fate, the throne of the Russian Empire is occupied not by a reforming Tsar, but by a reluctant leader of the revolution, its sovereign. Will our hero's foreknowledge and experience from the future help him? Will he be able to prevent the country from civil war, military defeat, and millions of deaths? Will they allow him to create a new Russia?
