Darislav Volkov leads another expedition, but now the "Salute" crew is heading to the Dragon Castle, grown by earthly pterosaurs in the depths of the dark Universe. Vsevolod Shapiro, a physicist from the "neighboring" multiverse of Multiverse, studies the Darkness... and works on the theory of the anti-universe, but he has another secret task ahead of him. The portal brings Volkov, Shapiro, and their companions to a strange place where weapons and combat machines are not produced, but grown from peculiar "spores". Will they be able to return? Will they manage to deal with the dragons that have suddenly emerged from hibernation? The cold mind of the Darkness plans to cleanse our Universe of the "dirt and debris" of other civilizations.
