Conversational English. Practical Course

The textbook is intended for those who wish to systematize their existing knowledge of the English language and improve their speaking skills. The thematic principle is the basis of the textbook. Each of the 19 sections contains a text, a... vocabulary section including phrases, micro-dialogues, and extended dialogues, lexical, grammatical, and speaking exercises, as well as a grammatical reference. Every three (final - four) sections conclude with a review test to check the assimilation of lexical and grammatical material from these sections. The system of exercises designed to work on a specific topic has been developed with the communicative focus of the textbook in mind. The principle of communicativeness is maintained in most grammatical exercises, allowing for the practice of the given language model in natural speaking conditions. The educational material and system of exercises will help students overcome the barrier in spoken communication and improve their proficiency in the English language.
