50 Lessons with a Speech Therapist. Overcoming Difficulties in Indicating the Softness of Consonants

The proposed lesson plan for correcting the difficulties in indicating the softness of consonants in writing has been developed by the author based on their work experience and analysis of the mistakes made by students in the second, third, and fourth grades.
The manual contains a total of 50 lessons, which are organized in a specific system. It describes the work on correcting the difficulties in indicating the hardness and softness of consonants using both vowel letters and the soft sign.
The following lesson topics will be particularly useful for working with children:
- differentiation of hard and soft consonants in combination with various vowels ("Oh, the mess in Misha's notebook");
- differentiation of the soft sign as an indicator of consonant softness and the soft separating sign ("Masha and Maryushka");
- sound-letter analysis of words with a dividing hard sign ("They sat down and ate").
The manual is intended for practicing speech therapists working with primary school students.
