When Butterfly, responding to the call of her heart, found the path to the Star Tribe and learned about her destiny, the young dreamer thought that from then on her life would be filled with meaning. She became a healer,... met the love of her life, earned the respect of her tribesmen, and looked to the future without fear.
However, the path of healing is one of service and solitude, and the tragic death of Miki is just the first trial destined for her. Striving to be true to her duty, Butterfly does not even realize the monstrous sacrifice she must make for the good of the tribe. Only the stars can give her the strength to endure all trials and scatter the petals of the Shimmering Star, which future generations of warrior cats will have to gather.
