Where is the truth hidden? Why do many seek to find it? In this book, Osho invites us to get closer to the divine and understand how the secret knowledge was revealed to enlightened masters.
He speaks of the sutras of Atisha - a great Buddhist teacher and preacher, the founder of the Tibetan Buddhism school, referred to as the Second Buddha. After attaining enlightenment, Atisha created the "Seven Principles of Mind Transformation" - wisdom-filled statements-sutras. They serve as a practical methodology for transforming thought, through which even a beginner seeker can get closer to the truth.
By reading and contemplating each sutra, we come to understand that all our suffering is born from our own mind, but it also conceals the source of great possibilities - we just need to learn to attune it with inner knowledge…
.About the book
Atisha is a unique Buddhist Master. "Thrice Great Atisha" - this is how he was called, because he was a student of three enlightened masters simultaneously. From one he learned about emptiness, from another - love and compassion, from the third - the ability to share with the world what he had achieved. Thus, having absorbed the doctrines of three different teachers, Atisha became a unique phenomenon - a combination of clarity and depth of understanding with sensitivity and greatness of heart.
In this series of talks, Osho comments on the sutras of Atisha "Seven Principles of Mind Transformation". According to Atisha's teaching, the main obstacle to getting closer to the truth is the mind: "Dreams, desires, complexes, old emotions - this is the junk that makes up the mind. It surrounds you like a Great Wall. If you reach a state in which the mind no longer thinks, no longer dreams, where the mind is just consciousness, pure consciousness, you will become much wiser". Each of the seven "Principles…" gives a hint on how to achieve such pure consciousness, and Osho helps to find this hint. His comments will expand the boundaries of your worldview, open wider the doors of your perception, and Atisha's philosophical judgments will become more accessible and understandable.
.Why it is worth reading the book
Osho's comments, as well as his answers to numerous questions from students, will be a true revelation for you: you will learn about inner silence, realize the illusions of the mind that hinder a holistic perception of the world and living a happy and creative life, understand why some find truth easily while others may not recognize it even after hundreds of years... In joy, simplicity, and surprise resonate Atisha's revelations conveyed to us in the words of Osho - and there is no other way to call these sparks of knowledge than enlightenment.

.Why decide to publish
These talks on the sutras of Atisha, a Buddhist mystic of the 11th century, were conducted by Osho in his commune in Pune in 1979. The structure of the talks was as follows: one morning was dedicated to commenting on a sutra from the "Seven Principles of Mind Transformation", and then during three meetings, Osho answered the questions of sannyasins - and so it went every day. As a result, a huge book of 600 pages was created! The wisdom of the greatest Masters, passed down through the centuries, a large number of jokes, anecdotes, parables, ancient aphorisms, and an unusual perspective on familiar things - this book will be a real challenge for the seasoned seeker!
