Evgeny Serafimovich Veltiстov was one of the first Soviet science fiction writers. He wrote a lot for children, but real popularity came to him with the book about the adventures of schoolboy Seryozha Syroezhkin and his double, the robot Elektronik.... The astonishing resemblance of the boys leads to a series of amazing events. Instead of Seryozha, his robot double now goes to school, and all the boring tasks are also carried out by Elektronik. However, the opened prospects turn out to be not so rosy. Based on the book by Evgeny Veltiстov, a three-part musical film was made in the 1980s that remains popular to this day.
