However, this year is not like any other. Since the death of Julian's older sister Juni, his family has been engulfed in great sorrow, and Julian thinks that Christmas will simply be canceled.
One day Julian meets the cheerful Hedvig. The girl reminds him how wonderful Christmas can be, and he begins to believe that the holiday might still take place. But the house where Hedvig lives holds a secret. And who is the strange old man who keeps appearing? And what is Hedvig really hiding?
