It introduces four-year-olds and older readers to life and work on farms. In colorful illustrations, one can explore how grain, flax, tea, cocoa beans, and many other things are grown, how milk is processed in a dairy, cheese is made,... and how grape growers make wine. The book takes the reader on a journey around the world, allowing them to discover what people obtain for food and clothing. The young reader can also try to cook rice in milk, strawberry jam, or a maraca – an interesting musical instrument, based on the suggestions found in the book.
