Russian literature from the old Nestor to the not-so-old Olidi. Ancient Russian and the 18th century.

Let's face the truth: we quietly hate Russian literature. 'We' may not include those who are reading this text now, but for the most part, both today's forty-year-olds and younger ones would prefer to read anything rather than Russian classics.... What is the reason for this? Partly - alas, it’s the school system, which has done everything necessary to foster the most intense rejection. Partly – family: how many parents demanded their children read serious literature, instilling even in the well-read a strong desire never to open either Tolstoy or, even more so, Pushkin. But there is also a third, deeper reason, rooted in the artistic values of Russian classics, and this reason lies in the incompatibility of the literature of the Golden Age with the modern psychotype. To understand this, our course is needed.
