Trepanation of the Past

A well-known psychiatrist-narcologist Ilya Osipov was attacked in his country house. The doctor was seriously injured, and a laptop, a mobile phone, and the contents of his personal safe disappeared from his office. It is obvious that the criminal was... not interested in material valuables but rather some important information. During the investigation, detectives Gurov and Kryachko establish that the doctor may have known the attacker. But who among the numerous patients of the respected specialist paid him a bloody visit? The situation becomes clearer when the operatives learn some details from the previous lives of the guards working in the cottage community where the injured psychiatrist lived.
