A thirteen-year-old girl, who keenly and anxiously perceives what is happening around her, writes letters to the Unicorn because she has no one to share with and because she knows: the one who does not exist cannot answer or give... away anything. Much is perceived by her as hostile and painful, especially the relationship with the closest person - her mother. It seems that everything is wrong, constant conflicts arise. The growing rejection of the surrounding world by the teenager and problems at school prompt the mother and daughter to leave and change their environment. As the girl grows up, she changes, finds herself, and tries to accept her loved one. Both she and her mother will have to learn to listen to each other.
