Fierce Eye. The Story of the Battle of Russian Warriors Against the Armies of Genghis Khan

13th century. Medieval Rus is exhausted by constant raids and feuds. Princes distribute their lands and cities to their grandsons and nephews like sweets at Easter. And here, a new strong enemy approaches the borders, threatening to enslave all Russian... lands. Influential princes gather for a council. They decide to meet the enemy on the steppe of the Polovtsians and not let him into Rus. The assembled army significantly outnumbers the hordes of Genghis Khan in numbers and armament, but it lacks firm leadership. The princes cannot forget their grudges and unite in the face of a common disaster. The Galician prince Mstislav the Brave tries to rally the princes and the army. He asks his wife Taísiya to sew a protective banner, the Fierce Eye. This banner will become a salvation, a hope, and a strength for the squad and all of Rus.
