In Norek's new novel "The Reckoning," former special forces soldier Virgil Solal, a grieving father who has lost his only child, declares war on a world that kills children for profit - indiscriminately killing everyone. To make the world a better place, it takes, in general, just a little - merely instilling in the leadership and shareholders of major corporations that they cannot thoughtlessly consume the planet's resources for excessive profits. In his educational work, Solal is ready to go to the end - he does not hide and understands what awaits him, but believes that he cannot do otherwise. He acts cold-bloodedly, his methods are quite unconventional, unfortunately, the affair does not go without casualties - and nevertheless the world sympathizes with him and gradually awakens along with him. Meanwhile, the police are searching for Solal - and those he has kidnapped…
