The House under the Lilacs

A touching sentimental tale by Louisa May Alcott tells the story of a little circus performer and his trained dog. Due to endless beatings and hard labor, the boy runs away from the circus. But it turns out that in the cruel outside world, he has no one to rely on, as he doesn't know the rules by which ordinary people live.
