Friends-The Syracuses Against the Lapins

Aleksey Lapin and his sister Vera are terribly unlucky with their relatives! Their distant cousins, the Syracuses, not only disgraced the Lapins almost throughout the country by sending a poem by Tyutchev to the newspaper in their name, but also... stole a common family relic - their great-great-great-grandfather's flint. And now they are denying it. That means, war!
But while the Lapins and Syracuses are pondering how to annoy each other, many events are happening around them: a teacher is writing a book about the history of the city and opening a museum, a mysterious masked buyer is taking all the outline maps, and a specially appointed committee is organizing a meeting of the participants of the bicycle race. The kids are also needed to help, and for some reason, it works best when they act together...
