Academy of Shadow Spells

You do not choose the Academy. The Academy chooses you. I had no idea how these words would change my life. Or how they had already managed to change it… Until that day when we were handed our death sentence.... My younger brother was chosen for a prestigious secret magic school. A place so dangerous that no one guarantees you'll come out alive. If he doesn’t leave, our whole family will perish. My older brother received the same invitation three years ago to the same school, where he mysteriously died. The Academy has already killed my brother. God forbid they take another one. I do the only thing an older sister can do: I cut my hair and take his place. Magic and monsters are real. Killers are after me, and the dead tend to rise from their graves.
