The basis of logical thinking lies in the cognitive operation of comparison. To be able to compare, it is necessary to learn to highlight the essential characteristics of an object. Therefore, the first step is to perform tasks on verbal descriptions of objects, highlighting characteristics such as shape, color, size, material, and purpose. Interesting and effective tasks aimed at developing logic are grouped by themes: My Home, Street, Playground, Garden, In Nature, Zoo, Seasons, arranged in increasing complexity and oriented towards the real capabilities of modern children. Magnificent colored illustrations and accessible, comprehensible tasks for children will make the activities engaging and beneficial. It is necessary to work on the tasks sequentially, without skipping pages and not jumping from topic to topic, as the manual is constructed on the principle of complication. To maintain the child's interest in the tasks, a funny character—a cheerful pirate—has been introduced, whom the child will confront. It is addressed to parents and caregivers of older preschoolers aged 4-6 years and can be used both at home and in kindergarten.
