Romeo and Juliet = Ромео и Джульетта

The tragedy "Romeo and Juliet" was written by William Shakespeare in 1595. The plot is based on an ancient Italian folk legend. The events described in the play last only about two weeks, but for Romeo and Juliet - it... is a whole life. The tragedy of their fate is not simply a coincidence of events. The cruel fate of Romeo and Juliet is the harsh world surrounding them. In their tragedy, W. Shakespeare expressed the eternal contradiction between humanistic ideals and reality.
The text of the book is adapted, provided with lexical and grammatical commentary, translation of difficult words, as well as exercises aimed at practicing and reinforcing speech skills.
