"Poems in Prose" became the poetic testament of Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev (1818-1883). He created them at the very end of his life, reflecting on the path he had traveled, generalizing, pondering, rejoicing, and grieving. In this collection, the writer opened to us the wonderful garden of his soul. There is much intimate, very personal content here, which gives the works an additional - hard-earned tone.
