Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Tragedy

The tragedy by William Shakespeare (1564-1616) "Hamlet, Prince of Denmark" was written over 400 years ago, yet it continues to grace the theater stages. Tens of thousands of actors around the world dream of playing Hamlet - perhaps the best theatrical role of all time, and thousands of different actors have already performed it in theater and film. The image of Hamlet has turned into an "eternal" image of world culture, constantly changing depending on the time and nationality, the personality of the actor and the director's intent, an image that is always mysterious and captivating, yet evanescently eluding a one-sided understanding of any fanatical ideology. So why does the play remain popular through all ages? Because it raises eternal questions: of love and betrayal, the search for justice, revenge, and the redemption of guilt. And the question "To be or not to be?" still torments humanity, which is in perpetual search for the meaning of life.
