Five from One Pod

In an ordinary pea pod lived five little green peas. The peas felt good and cozy inside the pod, but they still sensed that the time would come for them to leave their home, and they were confident in their certainly bright future. When the pod turned yellow and dried, a little boy picked it and released all five peas through a elderberry tube wherever the eyes could see. And how different their fates turned out to be!..
