Development of Interhemispheric Interaction in Children: Neurodynamic Gymnastics

Preschool and early childhood are the most favorable periods for the development of higher brain structures, and consequently, interhemispheric connections and mental processes. The proposed neurodynamic gymnastics is one of the approaches aimed at developing integrated interhemispheric interaction in children... aged 4 to 7 years. By using specially selected games and exercises during sessions with children, where the child engages the right hand, the left hand, or performs tasks with both hands simultaneously, we create conditions for improving the interaction between the right and left hemispheres, each of which perceives the external world in its own way. Neurodynamic gymnastics will be of interest to a wide range of specialists, including psychologists, speech therapists, defectologists, educators, as well as parents for activities at home.
