For the Young Pianist: Reader: 3rd Grade

You hold in your hands a reader for 3rd grade students of a children's music school. The compilation of this collection was prompted by the necessity to have a sufficient amount of musical-pedagogical material for teaching a child to play the piano throughout the year in one textbook. The collection includes works from many previously published teaching aids, allowing to address the challenges of this learning period. In accordance with the curriculum requirements of the Children's Music School and Children's Art School, the reader includes works representing the following sections: polyphony, large form, pieces, etudes, and ensembles. Although the collection does not use etudes by C. Czerny and A. Lemouana, the polyphonic pieces from A.M. Bach's Notebook of J.S. Bach, and pieces from the author's collections of P. Tchaikovsky, R. Schumann, and D. Kabalevsky, which are undoubtedly necessary for working with children, the presented artistic and instructional material expands the repertoire palette of the teacher and allows the selection of the necessary number of works for working with a 3rd-grade student, taking into account their individuality.
