Financial Literacy. Grades 10-11: Lesson Plans

The manual is developed based on the current program for financial literacy to assist teachers of grades 10-11 in educational schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums. The development of each lesson contains the necessary theoretical information, educational and practical tasks with well-worked methodological recommendations and solutions. The book will teach the basics of investing; it will help high school graduates understand how to make their savings profitable. The author forms habits and knowledge in high school students in an accessible game format, based on essential financial rules: • save at least 1/10 of your income; • before making an investment, assess profitability and risks; • savings should work, not lie dormant; • expenses should be controlled; • wealth should be increased; • there should be income secured for retirement.
