The Silence of Color

I have always been lucky with good people. Each of them inserted an important piece of the mosaic into that unfinished picture of the world that I had envisioned. Each brought something that I specifically needed. Each definitely taught me... something. Basically, I am the result of their efforts, their pale shadow. Time flows, and life unforgivably speeds up, generously leaving the closest, the most important ones nearby. The most loving and compassionate. They do not need anything explained, with them I can be unafraid to be weak or foolish. Before them, there is no need to make excuses — they forgave me the day before my birthday, unconditionally and forever. Therefore, all that I have in my soul now is gratitude and love.
