Silence of Color

I have always been lucky with good people. Each of them placed an important piece of mosaic into that unfinished picture of the world that I painted for myself. Each brought what I specifically lacked. Each certainly taught me something. Ultimately, I am the result of their efforts, their pale shadow. Time flows, and life mercilessly speeds up, generously leaving next to me the closest, the most important. The most loving and compassionate. They need no explanations, with them one need not fear being weak or foolish. In front of them, there is no need to justify oneself — they forgave me the day before my birthday, unconditionally and forever. Therefore, all I have now in my soul is gratitude and love.
