Amazing Dog Stories

Dogs have long become the best friends of humans and have learned a thing or two from them. Like people, they are all very different – each with its own character and special story. Agile Beagles have just returned from a particularly successful hunt. A kind Collie watches over not only the sheep but also all of her household members. And a brave St. Bernard has repeatedly found lost travelers in the mountains! You can meet all the dogs thanks to the bright illustrations by Janusz Grabiański, a famous Polish artist. Their stories were recorded by poet Mikhail Virozub, whose poems for the book Amazing Cat Stories made it to the longlist of the Kornei Chukovsky Awards. Take a look – perhaps among them is your dog?
