Python for Kids Who Don't Program Yet

The purpose of the book is to help children aged 10-13 take their first steps in programming using the popular language Python and enjoy the process. The book will provide basic skills for creating programs, help prepare for the exam... for an IT class in a good school, and serve as the first step towards a profession as a programmer.

In each chapter, the student-reader encounters a problem, experiments, listens to expert opinions, solves tasks, and executes projects, ranging from simple ones accessible to everyone to more complex ones. The themes of the tasks and projects are realistic or fantastic, but always engaging. Unexpected characters with their own views on programming appear on the pages — all of this makes mastering the basics of Python an exciting game.

The book contains answers and hints for tasks and tests, and in the electronic archive available on the publisher's website, there are working materials, program texts, and sets of test values.
