It has been created and developed with the support of leading ophthalmologists specifically for... preventive support and restoration of vision.
Stereograms are pictures with a 3D effect. Looking at them helps the eye muscles relax and positively affects the improvement and maintenance of visual acuity. Ophthalmologists recommend viewing stereograms starting from 6-7 years old, when stereoscopic (binocular) vision is already forming at the necessary level. Some children can view stereograms earlier than this age.
What is special about this set:
Each card is a stereogram, a picture with a 3D effect. Thanks to the enlarged format of the cards, they are convenient to work with. The themes of the cards in the set are very diverse: animals, fairy-tale characters, landmarks, narrative images, etc., making it interesting for both children of various ages and adults to engage with them.
3 ways to learn to view stereograms:
1. Place a pencil about 5-7 cm in front of the image, focus your gaze on the tip, and gradually move it back and forth. This will cause the picture to blur, and you will see the volumetric image.
2. Place the stereogram at a distance of 20 cm from your face. Slowly approach it until you cannot focus on anything specific and the image becomes blurry. Once you are close, without taking your eyes off the picture, slowly and smoothly move away while maintaining the blur.
3. Place the stereogram about 10 cm from your face. Focus your gaze on the picture, then relax the eye muscles as if looking through the stereogram.
Important to know:
- Regular exercises with the cards will help relieve and improve vision, alleviating eye fatigue in both children aged 5 and older and adults.
- It is recommended to use the cards after prolonged monotonous activities that require eye strain: reading, working on the computer and gadgets, watching television, etc.
The cards are great for engaging activities at home and on the go, for individual and group sessions during trips and outdoors.
