Red Tim hasn't made acquaintances for many years, doesn't like uninvited guests, and does his best to keep anyone from entering his heart. He also lives in a small bus on the edge of a wasteland — a place where... no one will disturb him. Everything changes when, just before New Year, a chance discovery of books bursts into Tim's calm and measured life, followed by Margot, the "little shaggy hooligan". She chatters non-stop, isn't afraid to dream, and loves book adventures and mysteries. But who would have thought that Tim and Margot would find themselves at the center of a detective story?
