Ruslan and Lyudmila

Ruslan and Lyudmila is the first poem by A. S. Pushkin, which he wrote inspired by Russian fairy tales.

A fabulous cat that walks along a chain around an oak tree at Lukomorye, thirty beautiful knights emerging from the sea, a sorcerer who kidnapped Lyudmila, and Ruslan, who freed his beloved from the sorcerer's charms, are known to everyone. 

With this poem, A. S. Pushkin gained fame and national recognition. The wonderful illustrations by Yana Sedova convey the atmosphere of a true Russian epic and the magic of genuine love that conquers all times.
