The first encyclopedia in a child's hands — what should it be like?
The main thing, in our opinion, is to reveal the diversity and beauty of the surrounding world in an interesting and accessible form. To awaken curiosity and the desire for knowledge, the ability to delve into the essence of natural phenomena, technical achievements, cultural monuments, and historical events.
But since 'my first encyclopedia' for a child is not just an exciting children's book, but also, at the same time, a source of encyclopedic information, it must be as informative, factually precise, and absolutely reliable as possible. That is, it should fully correspond to an encyclopedic publication — to become not only an exciting guide to the Universe, the kingdom of animals and plants, world history but also useful as an additional educational resource.
'My First Encyclopedia' for younger and middle-aged children in our online children's bookstore is compiled according to these criteria and covers a wide range of topics about the surrounding world.
Children will learn for the first time:
- how people imagined the Universe in different times;
- where rivers, lakes, waterfalls, and icebergs 'are born';
- what is the difference between deciduous and mixed forests;
- detailed, 'living' information about trees, flowers, vegetables, and fruits.
For example, the white mushroom — it turns out, is not a plant at all. So what is it then?
You will find out in our children's encyclopedia.
And also about what dinosaurs were like and how the human body is organized.
And so much more interesting about wildlife, the underwater kingdom, the life of birds, fascinating facts from world architecture, the history of painting, and printing that our children will learn from 'My First Encyclopedia' published by 'Pegasus'.
