No, he could actually dream. The reason: he slipped, fell, and came to. The consequence:... a concussion, a cast, oh no… surprise, joy, and the past all around. Restless in the raging sea of worlds. Another hit and another new world. The year is 1903, very little time remains before the Russo-Japanese War, and Max simply cannot miss such fun. So again, it's all in a hurry, again everything in haste. The main thing is to make it in time.
After all, Max made it. The Russo-Japanese War began just as it did in reality; advice and information were of no help. However, the story took a turn in a slightly different direction thanks to Max. But a third party decided to intervene in the war and does so, as always, shamelessly and cynically.
