The story offered to you, authored by him about the Norman conquest of England, was first published in Russia in 1859 in the edition of A. A. Kraevsky and has been repeatedly reissued up to 1904.
In the new edition, the original translation in the edition of A. A. Kraevsky has been revised in accordance with the norms of modern Russian language and supplemented according to the original French edition "Conquete de l'Angleterre par les Normands" of 1830 by historian V. E. Senichev.
