Thirst

Edie works at a publishing house. And it's not exactly the job of her dreams. After all, Edie dreams of becoming an artist. Like Artemisia Gentileschi, like Caravaggio, like Van Gogh.
To write masterpieces drenched in arterial blood. Edie is young,... somewhat cynical, somewhat ruthless. Somewhat unhappy.
In the evenings, she paints with oil, trying to translate life onto canvas. But in the mornings, the colors fade, and she has nothing left but to defend herself against the overwhelming disappointment that consumes her.
Surprisingly for herself, she becomes fully involved in a relationship with a man older than herself - Eric.
He is married, but it is a marriage without obligations. His wife Rebecca is absolutely fine with their affair.
And this should resemble a love triangle, but there is no longer room for simple geometric figures in the world. Everything is now much more complicated.
And it seems that today all barriers have been broken, prejudices cast aside, and taboos lifted.
But freedom constrains the heart just as much as coercion does, and it is from this feeling that the caustic and provocative Thirst is born.
