The book includes a novel and a psychological article. Both the novel and the article are about people with narcissistic disorders. Usually, a narcissist is defined as a self-loving, selfish person - almost everyone remembers the myth of Narcissus, who perished from love for himself. In psychology, however, it refers to a narcissistic character, which only vaguely resembles the everyday understanding.
The author offers a perspective on the lives of narcissists from two sides: from the viewpoint of the people living alongside them and from the perspective of the psychotherapist working with them.
