Diana Vishneva — prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theatre, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, founder of the international festival of contemporary choreography CONTEXT. As a classical ballerina, Diana Vishneva easily speaks the language of contemporary dance choreographers from Martha Graham and Mats Ek to Carolyn Carlson and Ohad Naharin. The idea of «Multiverse» belongs to the Foundation for the Promotion of Ballet Art of Diana Vishneva. The co-author of the book is architect and journalist, member of the European Architectural Society Anna Yudina. Outstanding designers, choreographers, and architects of today discuss the future of art: self-expression through digital forms, the ultimate erasure of boundaries between the artist and the viewer, the increasing fusion of art with science and modern technology. Together with the heroes of the book, readers are invited to find answers to important questions about art themselves: - What forms of creativity arise in a world built on the integration of digital, bio- and nano-technologies? - How will artists and viewers interact in the future? - Will robots be able to create works of art? - Will designers be able to create new realities? - What is the theatre of the future like? - What place will art occupy in the rapidly changing world?
