Engaging Break (for children 6-7 years old)

We present to you engaging developmental tasks aimed at awakening and reinforcing the interest of children aged 6-7 in educational and cognitive activities. They will help your child develop concentration, logical thinking, and stimulate interest in learning to read through games with letters, as well as foster attentiveness - qualities necessary for successful learning in the first grade. The sequence of completing tasks in this resource does not matter. The child can start with any task they like, gradually moving on to those that seem challenging to them. The adult's task is to be an interested participant in their actions and a helper in tasks that the child for some reason has chosen not to undertake. The free form of completing tasks (orally or with a pencil in hand), as well as the lack of a specific sequence in activities, allows the child to gradually get used to academic activities while remaining in a familiar play environment.
This resource can be used in preschool institutions for both collaborative activities with a teacher and for independent child activities.
