Moscow — Petushki

The hero travels by train from Moscow to Petushki, where his loved ones are waiting for him. Along the way, he drinks, engages in conversations with fellow travelers, and delves deeper into long monologues about history, culture, politics, and the structure of life. The space around gradually loses its solidity: absurd scenes, strange interlocutors, and visions arise during the journey, causing reality to shift constantly. Externally, this is the story of one road, but within it — an attempt to reach a place that is associated for the hero with hope, tranquility, and meaning.
