Eternally Losing Weight. Motivational Workshop

For many years I lived in a state of war with my body. Now I think: if I could have gotten help a little earlier, if my family, instead of endlessly criticizing me for trying to stick to a diet, had known a bit more about what happens to girls when they stop eating, would my path to myself have been a little shorter? There is no answer to this question. Just as there was no hypothetical possibility for me to avoid my path: 35 years ago, when I was a teenager, no one in our country could even think about what was wrong with girls ‘going on’ kefir or apple diets. We did not have psychotherapy, and psychology was only pedagogical or engineering. So there was no one to expect help from. I really want someone among those girls, young women, and women who are currently fighting self-hatred because of their body’s imperfections to receive a little support, love, and hope along with this book. And to return to themselves faster than I did.
