Arachnid

The action takes place in Buffalo in the 1890s. Two years have passed since the escape from London, and now Alina Lis lives in a women’s commune, where she feels support and a semblance of family for the first time. This order collapses when Silas Forbes—a vampire from the Viper race, with whom she shares a troubled past, obsession, and unhealed wounds—returns to her life. Along with him comes Luka Novikov, a man who has betrayed her once before.

The plot revolves around the confrontation between humans and Vipers, old debts, and new alliances. The story combines mysticism, horror elements, and a romantic line, in which feelings are closely tied to the struggle for control. Inside are experiments, dangerous agreements, a conflict of justice and revenge, and a constant question: what is a person willing to stand up for if they finally found their place.
